I-40 eastbound near Kernersville reopens after vehicle fire

FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. — Interstate 40 eastbound near NC-66 in Forsyth County has reopened after closing due to a vehicle fire.

Traffic backups occurred near Kernersville at Mile Marker 203.

The fire happened at 10:53 a.m.
