A high school senior in Texas set a record by lifting 700 pounds at a powerlifting meet.

Matt Poursoltani lifted an incredible 700 pounds during a state powerlifting meet in Abilene, Texas on Saturday, breaking his own record of 670 pounds.

He nearly surpassed Larry Allen’s NFL bench press record of 705.

According to the Dallas Morning News, Poursoltani eats “six sunny-side-up eggs” every morning, and he’s been known to have two 16-ounce steaks for dinner.

When asked about steroids, Poursoltani said:

“If you need something to help you work out, you need to get out of the sport. If you can’t drive yourself that hard to come in here and work out, then it’s probably just not for you.”
