FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. — Officials are trying to identify the cause of a house fire in Kernersville on Monday night.

At about 6:30 p.m, firefighters from Kernersville and Hornytown fire departments were dispatched to the 1600 block of Banbridge Road after receiving reports of a house fire.

After arriving on the scene, firefighters said flames were visible from the second story of the vacant home.

Crews were able to extinguish the flames shortly after 7 p.m.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
