GREENSBORO, N.C. — Preliminary autopsy results from the State Medical Examiner’s Office have ruled out homicide as the manner of death for Terry Hampton Watson.

Watson, 53, was found deceased in her home at 3220 S. Holden Rd. on Jan. 20.

Detectives had initially classified the death as suspicious due to the absence of a clear manner of death.

The results of a pending toxicology report may reveal the manner and cause of her death.
