GASTONIA, N.C. — A homeless woman helped police capture a man wanted on several breaking-and-entering charges.

Investigators said she saw Ronnie Garvin break into Sandy’s Bail Bonds in Gastonia and leave with several items, including a stun gun and bullets Monday morning.

She followed him to a nearby motel, then called the owner of the bonding business.

The witness told WSOC she hopes someone would do the same for her if she owned a business.
