Homeless man with ‘666’ tattoo charged in fatal stabbing at NC church

DUCK, N.C.  — A homeless man with a “666” tattoo was arrested and charged with first-degree murder for stabbing another homeless man to death at a shelter in North Carolina.

William Everett Long, 53, got into an argument with a 61-year-old homeless man, whose name is temporarily being withheld, at Duck United Methodist Church Thursday morning.

According to police, Long grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the other homeless man.

When crews arrived, they found the victim and transported him to The Outer Banks Hospital where he later died.

Long is being held without bond.

No other guests or volunteers at the church-based homeless assistance program were injured according to WTKR.
