Missing 12-year-old girl in High Point located

[Update 10:45 p.m.] High Point police said in a news release at 10:44 p.m. that Halie Elizabeth Simeone has been located and is safe.

HIGH POINT, N.C. — The High Point Police Department is requesting public assistance locating a missing juvenile.

Halie Elizabeth Simeone, 12, was last seen Tuesday at about 4:45 p.m. walking in the 2600 block of Willard Dairy Road near Penny Road.

She is a white female who is 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds.

High Point police said Halie has fair complexion, brown hair and hazel eyes.

She was last seen wearing a dark blue or black hooded sweatshirt, jeans and had a dark backpack.
