HIGH POINT, N.C. — The High Point Police Department is investigating an overnight shooting that occurred around 2 a.m. at 701 Thissell Street.
Upon arrival, police discovered a woman with a gunshot wound in her lower back. She was taken to the hospital.
Their were six people in the house at the time of the shooting, but were no further reported injuries.
Police recovered bullets and other evidence from the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
