GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. -- The Guilford County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help identifying two suspects involved in several outbuilding burglaries.

On July 11 and July 12, authorities responded to the Steepleview Drive neighborhood in Randleman after reports of several outbuilding burglaries.

Two male suspects were seen on surveillance footage July 12 at 2:47 a.m. carrying some of the stolen property away from one of the outbuildings.

Sgt. Jay Eaton with the Guilford County Sheriff's Department said the burglars entered ten outbuildings Saturday through windows and doors, using pliers and bolt cutters.

“A variety of methods of how they broke into the sheds is unusual because usually criminals stick with just one method whether it’s through the window or the door,” Eaton said. “One way citizens can help us and help themselves is to document makes models and serial numbers of any kind of equipment that’s not just for lawn care equipment.”

Sgt. Eaton said as of now there are no suspects in the previous burglary of eight outbuildings in the same neighborhood nearly a month ago.

Neighbor Jamie Kendall said her shed was not broken into the first time because they always keep them locked. Sunday morning she noticed an open window and several lawn equipment pieces missing.

“They were so brave to just go through the whole neighborhood when everyone was at home too,” Kendall said.

Although the community has an active community watch program, several neighbors plan to purchase motion detectors, cameras and alarms to secure their property.

Anyone who knows the subjects in the photograph is asked to call Greensboro Crime Stoppers at (336) 373-1000 or Sgt. J. Eaton at (336) 641-7905.

Crimes Stoppers will pay up to $2,000 for information that leads to the arrest and/or conviction of the persons responsible.
