SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen is auctioning his 1969 Chevrolet Camaro convertible for charity.
WCNC reported that Olsen’s classic car will be auctioned off at the inaugural Barrett-Jackson Northeast Auction on June 23-25.
One hundred percent of the price will go toward Olsen’s foundation “Receptions for Research.”
The foundation was “established to provide hospitals, doctors & scholars resources to enhance the lives of those affected by cancer & cardiovascular diseases or disorders,” according to its website.
“I wanted this Camaro to improve the lives of families and immediately knew that auctioning it through Barrett-Jackson would be the best way to maximize the exposure for it,” Olsen said, according to Barrett-Jackson.com.
