GREENSBORO, N.C. — A Greensboro woman crashed into a home on Immanuel Road after leading police on a low-speed chase on Thursday.
Shortly after 2 p.m., police located a vehicle near Merritt Drive and Immanuel Road matching the description of a car involved in multiple hit and run accidents.
Police were questioning the driver, Toni Michelle Stimpson, 26, when she got back into the car and fled the scene.
Police said a low-speed chase ensued and ended when Stimpson lost control of the car and crashing into a home at 3003 Immanuel Rd.
An officer sustained minor injuries after helping Stimpson out of her vehicle.
No other injuries were reported.
Stimpson was transported to the hospital for physical and mental evaluations.
Charges are pending.
