GREENSBORO, N.C. — Some Ruby Tuesday employees were forced into the freezer while the restaurant was robbed at gunpoint early Tuesday morning.

Two men, with their faces covered, walked into the restaurant at 7611 Thorndike Road about 12:20 a.m., Greensboro police said.

Although Ruby Tuesday closes at 11 p.m. on Monday, it had not locked its doors because there were still customers inside, said Susan Danielsen, police spokeswoman.

A person in the parking lot saw the men walk into the restaurant with handguns and ran across the parking lot to a nearby hotel to call police, Danielsen said.
