Greensboro police identify suspect vehicle in weekend hit-and-run

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police have identified a suspect vehicle in the Saturday night hit-and-run in Greensboro.

A 2000-2002 Chevrolet Cavalier, dark in color, with a missing right passenger mirror and broken front parking light, is believed to be connected to a hit-and-run that happened near the intersection of Spring Garden Street and South Holden Road at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday.

The hit-and-run resulted in serious injuries to a pedestrian.

The pedestrian is recovering from his injuries at Moses Cone Hospital, police said Tuesday.
