GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Greensboro police have identified the body of a homicide victim found dead at her home Wednesday night.

Police said 72-year-old Mildred Summers Martin was found dead at 1403 Hyalyn Court after officers arrived for a welfare check around 11:50 p.m.

Greensboro police are not released the victim’s cause of death due to the ongoing investigation.

Authorities said Martin’s body will be taken to the Medical Examiner’s office for autopsy.
