GREENSBORO, N.C. — “Survivor” fans last saw Kelly Wiglesworth and Jeff Varner leave Los Angeles in May for Cambodia, for a second chance on the CBS competitive reality series, according to The Greensboro News Record.

The Greensboro natives were back in the spotlight earlier this week when the show premiered its 31st season, “Survivor: Cambodia – Second Chance.”

In separate phone interviews on Tuesday, both said they were excited and a bit nervous about tonight’s 90-minute premiere.

“It was an eventful three-day period that you are going to see,” Varner said. “A lot happened. A lot was said. I don’t know what other people had to say, and I’m not sure what’s going to show, and it makes me a little nervous.”
