GREENSBORO, N.C. — Craig Marimpietri has been a huge fan of the Netflix political drama House of Cards ever since its debut in 2013, according to the Greensboro News & Record.

A web television series, the show is based on the “House of Cards” novel by Michael Dobbs.

In anticipation of the show’s fourth season, which is available today on Netflix, local videographer Marimpietri decided to have a little fun and recreate the title sequence, shot-by-shot, with a local flair.

“The intro for ‘House of Cards’ displays everything that signifies power in Washington, D.C., from the Capitol and other government buildings, to monuments and statues, to American flags and transportation,” Marimpietri said. “I wanted to recreate that feel locally.”
