Greensboro man assaulted, stabbed

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man was stabbed Monday morning by three people, the News & Record reported.

The 44-year-old victim was near Ross Avenue and Bennett Street when he was assaulted and stabbed by three men, according to police.

The Greensboro resident was able to drive himself to Moses Cone Hospital, getting there about 4:25 a.m., where hospital officials notified police of the incident, law enforcement said.

It’s unclear why the victim was stabbed.
