GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro College is reportedly laying off six full-time faculty members at the end of the academic year.
The Greensboro News & Record reports the move is part of the college’s efforts to maintain its accreditation.
The affected employees were notified Thursday, Feb. 28, the News & Record reports.
The college has not identified the faculty members who are losing their jobs or what departments or divisions they are employed in.
A spokesperson tells the News & Record no academic programs will be eliminated.
