Teen, juvenile arrested in Graham vehicle break-ins

GRAHAM, N.C. — Police have arrested two suspects in connection with several vehicle break-ins that happened between July 19 and July 20 in Graham.

Multiple vehicles were broken into near Burton Street, Banks Street, Wilson Street, Ward Street and Home Avenue in Graham.

Calawayne Whyte, 16, of 2208 Young Street, and a 14-year-old juvenile were charged on juvenile petitions.

Each suspect is charged with 10 counts of breaking and entering motor vehicles and 7 counts of misdemeanor larceny.

Whyte is being held in the Alamance County Detention Center under a $45,000 secured bond. The juvenile was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center in Guilford County.
