COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Citizens are outraged after a digital road sign in Georgia was hacked to display an anti-police message, WSB-TV reports.

The slur reportedly flashed several hours before the police ambush in Baton Rouge on Sunday.

“People are very pro-police here. My daughter-in-law is an officer and I have nothing but respect for these people,” resident David Conrad said, according to WSB-TV.

The sign is currently out of service.
