GREENSBORO, N.C. — Gas prices are down almost 4 cents across Greensboro compared to last week.
Average retail gasoline prices in Greensboro fell 3.8 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.39 a gallon as of Sunday.
The national average for a gallon of gas fell 4.5 cents to $3.61 a gallon, according to GreensboroGasPrices.com.
The national average is down 18 cents this month and is 16 cents per gallon less than this time last year.
“An impressive decline in average gasoline prices will now be extended as the West Coast begins to see lower prices in the days ahead,” said GasBuddy.com Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan.
“Also pushing down oil prices last week was a frightening jobs report, as well as continued concerns about European debt problems,” DeHaan said.
