Temperatures will slip to near freezing around 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. Sunday and at that time we expect to see some freezing rain.
From that point on, freezing rain is expected most of Sunday from the Triad area north leading to icing between one tenth and three tenths of an inch.
South of the Triad, lighter amounts of ice are expected, closer to one tenth of an inch. There may be some power outages in areas that exceed a quarter inch of ice.
