RALEIGH, N.C. — North Carolina health officials released new flu numbers Thursday, saying four more people have died in the last week.
That brings the total number of deaths from flu-related complications statewide to 96 dating back to October.
Public health officials continue to urge those who have not been vaccinated yet to do so. Flu season can last well into April.
