WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Winston-Salem-based Foothills Brewing beer company is expanding to Georgia.
Foothills will begin distribution in Georgia by early next year, according to a statement posted online by the company.
“Georgia is where it all began for me,” said Foothills President Jamie Bartholomaus, who brewed in his dorm room at the University of Georgia.
Bartholomaus said he’s excited about finally getting an opportunity to sell our beer in Georgia.
”Atlanta’s the biggest market in our region, we’re looking forward to having the Foothills brand there as well as throughout the state,” said co-owner Matt Masten.
Foothills currently distributes beer in every other state that borders North Carolina.
