GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Tuesday night's fog cancelled or delayed several flights from Piedmont Triad International Airport.

“As soon as we got in line they were ready to cancel us,” said first-time flyer Teresa Murphy, who was trying to get to sunny Orlando on Allegiant Air.

One flight had to be diverted to Raleigh where the passengers were loaded on a bus and brought back to PTI.

“Being nervous is not good for you,” said Seth Gregory, trying to get to the Citrus Bowl where the eighth grader will play on Saturday. He has to check-in by 2 p.m. on Wednesday. "I’m trying to stay calm."

Most flights were rescheduled for early Wednesday morning.
