OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — A teenager in Florida is charged with attempted murder after repeatedly stabbing a 14-year-old following an argument over a Facebook post.

WOFL is reporting the 14-year-old was stabbed around 6:45 p.m. Monday. Kevin Concepcion, 16, allegedly stabbed the teen on Briarcliff Drive.

The 14-year-old was treated at Osceola Regional Medical Center. His condition was not immediately available on Tuesday. Concepcion was treated for undisclosed injuries at Poinciana Hospital.

Concepcion told his father the 14-year-old told students at school that he wanted to fight Concepcion over something he had posted on Facebook.

Witnesses told deputies the 14-year-old was walking home with friends when he confronted Concepcion regarding a post on Facebook.

The 14-year-old and Concepcion became involved in the altercation and Concepcion pulled out a knife and stabbed the teen several times, according to deputies.

Based on statements from witnesses and evidence, Concepcion was arrested and charged with seven counts of aggravated battery, one count of aggravated assault with a weapon and one count of attempted murder.”

Concepcion was taken to the Orange County Juvenile Detention Center.
