DELAND, Fla. — A Florida mom is under fire and facing charges after she allegedly urged her three sons to shoot a homeless man with BB guns during a drive-by.

Amina El-Zayat, 36, is charged with aggravated battery, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and child neglect, WFTV reports.

Zayat told police that she had been dealing with homeless people digging through the trash at her car wash business and wanted to scare them away.

According to a police report, she followed 35-year-old Travis Martin in her black SUV while her sons shot the BBs at him. He was picking through a garbage can at a local gas station.

Martin told authorities that the kids yelled, cursed and fired at him before later doing it again.

Police found the airsoft rifles in El-Zayat’s vehicle and charged her.
