Firefighters respond to small fire in Lexington

LEXINGTON, N.C. — Firefighters in Lexington responded to a small fire at 720 Tussey Street.

The call came in around 1:15 p.m. Saturday. It took 20-30 firefighters only about 30 minutes to control the fire.

Officials said ti would have been worse if the tires had ignited.

No injuries were reported.

No other information was provided. The investigation is ongoing.
