Firefighters battling massive 6-alarm fire in New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Fire Department was called to the scene of a massive 6-alarm fire Wednesday morning.

According to WGNO, the fire started in downtown New Orleans at 115 Roosevelt Way near Canal Street.

Firefighters said large flames can be seen coming out of the building and heavy smoke is covering the area.

There is no word on injuries at this time.
