HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Crews were called back to the scene of a warehouse fire after flames rekindled overnight.
The three-alarm blaze originally started around 11 p.m. Monday and wasn't out until Tuesday around 7 a.m. Crews remained at the scene on Taylor Avenue throughout the afternoon.
Crews were called back to the warehouse, which is the former Myrtle Desk Furniture Company building, after more hot spots flared up overnight.
Despite efforts to extinguish the blaze, flames picked up even more Wednesday morning. Firefighters battled the fire until about 8 a.m.
Officials still don't know what originally started the fire.
