GREENSBORO, N.C. — Firefighters responded Friday morning to a blaze at a Greensboro apartment building.

Greensboro Fire Chief Skip Nix confirmed his crews are working a fire at an apartment at the intersection of Rollins Street and Wendover Avenue.

Nix says the apartment was vacant.

Greensboro Fire Department spokesman Clarence Hunter says the fire started in a sofa inside the apartment, but investigators are not yet sure it actually started.

No injuries were reported.

No other details were immediately available.
