Female victim shot in leg, taken to Greensboro hospital, police say

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A female victim was shot in the leg on Sunday and taken to a hospital in Greensboro, according to a Greensboro Police Department news release.

At 5:51 p.m., police responded to the area of Fir Place and McIntosh Street when they were told about a shooting. 

Officers found a gunshot victim in stable condition with an injury to her leg. 

She was taken to a local hospital by EMS.

No suspect information was available.

The investigation is ongoing.
