Fabric store robbed in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro Police are looking for a suspect in connection with a robbery at a fabric store on Monday.

The incident happened around 7:55 p.m. at Hancock Fabrics on High Point Road.

Store staff told police a male suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money. He fled on foot north on High Point Road with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

The suspect is described as about 18 years old, about 5’10” to 6′ tall with a medium build. He was dressed in a green jacket, black pants and a bright orange toboggan covering his face, police said.
