FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Authorities said an apparent explosion in Fayetteville lead to a four-unit apartment catching on fire Saturday in Fayetteville.
WTVD reported it happened off Applecross Avenue inside the Southwood Apartment complex off Strickland Bridge Road.
Firefighters said the fire was burning heavily when they arrived shortly after midnight Saturday. They said they believe an explosion caused it.
Everyone made it out safely. No injuries were reported. It remains uncertain how much damage was caused.
