CLEARWATER, Fla. — A Florida woman was arrested and charged after she attempted to get revenge on her ex-boyfriend by setting what she thought was his car on fire, according to NBC 6.

In a post published on Facebook by the Clearwater Police Department last month, surveillance video caught 19-year-old Carmen Chamblee igniting flames in the trunk of a parked sedan.

Clearwater police published a follow-up post on Sept. 3, letting the public know that Chamblee is in custody.

Remember this arsonist caught on tape last weekend torching a car? She’s in custody now. Thanks to all who called and wrote in with various tips. Her name is Carmen Chamblee and she has been charged with second-degree arson and will be booked in to the Pinellas County Jail. A Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office deputy spotted her this morning just south of Clearwater.

Chamblee said she thought the car belonged to her ex-boyfriend, police say.
