Elderly woman fatally stabbed by roommate at assisted living home in NC

LOUISBURG, N.C. — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 57-year-old woman after she allegedly fatally stabbed her 88-year-old roommate at an assisted living home in Louisburg.

Authorities said it happened around 2:50 a.m. Tuesday on E.F. Cottrell Road. They found Elouise Collier stabbed to death.

Deputies arrested Patricia Marrow and charged her with first-degree murder. She is currently being held in a women’s prison in Raleigh with no bond.
