Nobody injured in High Point house fire

HIGH POINT, N.C. — Firefighters responded to an early-morning house fire Monday in High Point.

Fire Capt. Denita Lynch said the house at 416 Academy St. was fully involved when firefighters arrived around 5:30 a.m. 

No injuries were reported. 

Firefighters are investigating to identify the cause.

Lynch said they believe the house is vacant, though it may have had electricity because the power company was called to pull the meter. 

No other information was provided.
