Duke would be your 2014 NCAA National Champion if the NCAA Tournament was based on Facebook buzz.

Facebook ran the numbers to look at how things would pan out if Facebook buzz determined the national champion.

The winner of each match up was determined by the total number of posts and comments containing words related to each school over the past two weeks. The school with the higher number of mentions moved on to the next round.

The Duke Blue Devils are the champions, according to the “social bracket.” Kentucky upset Wichita State and Louisville to reach the Elite Eight before falling to Duke.

No. 11 Nebraska upset several teams on its way to the Final Four.

UNC lost in the Elight Eight to Virginia. NC state lost in the second round to Louisville.
