CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A driver will be charged with reckless driving after allegedly driving too fast and crashing into a North Carolina home.
WCNC-TV reported that it happened in a residential neighborhood in Charlotte on Sunday night. No injuries were reported, as nobody was home at the time.
The car went into the living room and out the back, clipping a support beam, according to authorities. A family reportedly lived at the home and will currently not be able to stay there.
WSOC-TV reported that the driver took a turn too wide, causing the crash. The identity of the driver has not been released.
