GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Donald Trump is urging North Carolina's Republicans to ``fight like hell'' to sway people to vote for Mitt Romney in this year's presidential election.

The News & Record reports that the real estate mogul says that President Barack Obama doesn't have the business savvy to lead the U.S. to a better economic future.

Trump spoke during the Friday night banquet of the North Carolina Republican Party 2012 State Convention.

He says the country needs a president who is ``smart, tough and gets it.''

State GOP Chairman Robin Hayes introduced Trump, using his signature line. Hayes said,  ``We are waiting for your words in November to say, `President Obama, You're fired!'''
