WHITSETT, N.C.–Staff at the Stoney Creek Veterinarian Hospital in Whitsett found a male pit bull mix tied up outside of their office with a note that read, “Hercules, Please Help.”

The dog’s collar was embedded about an inch into his neck, to the point his skin had started to grow around it.

Hercules is malnourished and believed to be about a year and a half old.

The staff at the vet’s office says he has a great demeanour, despite what he’s been through.

If you want to help Hercules or know where he came from, call Stoney Creek Veterinarian Hospital at (336) 446-8071.
