Documentary on HPU president nominated for Emmy award

HIGH POINT, N.C. – School officials at High Point University said a Biography Channel documentary on HPU President Nido Qubein has been nominated for an Emmy Award.

The school said in a prepared statement:

Titled “Nido Qubein: A Life of Success and Significance,” the 26-minute film was produced by CelebrityFilms® and directed by multiple Emmy Award-winner Nick Nanton. It has earned an Emmy® Award nomination in the “Current Affairs” category of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Nashville/Mid South region. The Emmy winners will be announced at a special ceremony in Nashville on Jan. 31.
