GREENSBORO, N.C. — Dave Chappelle will be the first performer to take the stage at the new House of Blues Entertainment-affiliated center here in the Piedmont.

The center is officially named the Cone Denim Entertainment Center. The center is named after Cone Mills.

“We are very excited that Cone Denim has not only supported the Indigo Denim Lounge at the new facility, but has also committed to the naming sponsorship. Anytime you can align with a brand that has been a staple in Greensboro for over 100 years, it says a lot of positive things about where we are heading and the role that we expect this venue to play in the community,” said Greater Greensboro Entertainment Group President Rocky Scarfone.

The center is located on Elm Street.

Chappelle will perform during the center’s inaugural event on Nov. 5 and 6.

Tickets can be purchased starting Friday at ticketmaster.com.
