Customers fight back after man tries to rob convenience store; incident on video

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – A man who allegedly tried robbing a convenience store was arrested after a couple of customers fought back, knocking him to the ground.

ABC News reported that 32-year-old Jovon Reddick was arrested after the incident at a convenience store in Florida around 4:30 a.m. The incident was captured on surveillance video.

The suspect allegedly ordered the two men to get on their knees and hand over their wallets. But instead, the men fought back.

One of the men can be seen on surveillance video hitting the suspect on the head with a bottle. Police were called and the suspect was arrested.

Reddick was jailed on charges of armed robbery and possessing a weapon while committing an offense. Police said he had a loaded gun on him.
