‘Cruizin’ for Critters’ motorcycle ride this Saturday raises money to save animals

RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. -- The Second Chances motorcycle ride "Cruizin' for Critters" is coming up this Saturday and will help save animals in the area.

Midge Noble her her golden retriever, Echo, stopped by FOX8 Wednesday to talk about the event which benefits the Randolph SPCA and the Humane Society.

The event, which is in its third year, will be Saturday, May 4, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Cox's Harley Davidson in Asheboro. The ride begins at 10 a.m.

Funds raised will go towards a low-cost spay/neuter, education, adoption center that will stop the gassing of healthy and adoptable animals in the county.

There will be a motorcycle ride, live music, food, bounce house and a silent auction.

Entrance fee for riders is $20.
