Crews respond to Asheboro apartment fire

ASHEBORO, N.C. — An apartment building in Asheboro caught fire on Thursday.

At about 6:25 p.m., the Asheboro Fire Department, Asheboro Police Department and the Randolph County Emergency Services responded to a fire at the Park Place Apartments on 721 S. Church St.

Three families were re-located but no one was reported injured.

The damage is only to one building.
