1 injured after 2 vehicles crash into Sweet Shoppe Bakery in High Point

HIGH POINT, N.C. – At least one person was hurt after two vehicles hit the Sweet Shoppe Bakery in High Point on Thursday afternoon.

Crews responded to the scene at 2008 N. Centennial St. in reference to the crash. There is no word on the condition of the victim.

The person who was injured was driving one of the vehicles and slammed into the business after a crash with another vehicle.

Four employees and two customers were inside the business at the time of the crash. Nobody inside was hurt.

Glass shattered and smoke filled the building, but the damage has been described as minor.

The business has been cleared by inspectors to reopen at 7 a.m. Friday.
