GREENSBORO, N.C. — Crews are on the scene of a condo complex fire in Greensboro.
The fire was reported at the Carriage Village Condos at 6702 W. Friendly Ave.
The fire destroyed 6 condos and 6 others have smoke and water damage.
Officials confirmed there were no injuries in the fire, however one person was taken to the hospital for anxiety.
The city issued a news release on Thursday afternoon:
“Due to a working structure fire in the 6700 Block of W. Friendly Ave. the west bound lane is blocked with emergency vehicles. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes at this time.”
No other information has been provided.
The residents that lived in the 12 condos will be displaced due to damaged caused by the fire.
