Crews battle 3-alarm fire in heart of uptown Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A 3-alarm fire in the heart of uptown Charlotte is under control as of Monday evening, according to WSOC.

The fire started around 2:45 p.m. at a restaurant North College Street.

The fire reportedly reached the second floor of a high rise.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
