Lanes reopen on westbound I-40 in Greensboro after crash causes hours-long closure

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — All lanes of westbound Interstate 40 in Greensboro have reopened after a crash caused an hours-long closure, according to the N.C. Department of Transportation.

NCDOT reported that the lanes were closed at 4:31 p.m. near exit 226 for McConnell Road.

All lanes were reopened as of 10:09 p.m., according to NCDOT.

There is no word on how many cars were involved or if any injuries were reported.
